The course is for anyone, regardless of where you are and what you know. It’s simple, practical, and research-based, and it will give you information to help you understand your ADHD child better, regardless of whether you’ve never read a parenting book or you have a PhD.
Our Parenting ADHD Course is appropriate for all ages — comprehensive, and carefully built to be useful whether your child is 7 or 17.
This course is primarily designed for parents. The principles, however, easily transfer to classroom and school contexts. If you work with an ADHD child, you’ll benefit from this course.
It is not included, however - members receive a considerable discount (just make sure you’re signed into your account during checkout)!
It was co-designed BY a mum with ADHD. If you check out the reviews, you’ll see that one of them answers your question. Designed in short segments, with easy-to-implement homework tasks and lifetime access (half the team has ADHD, so we know just how easy it is to forget you purchased something until AFTER the expiry date!).
This course is based on a Self-Determination Theory framework, oriented to creating a ‘need-supportive environment’. When a child or teen is struggling, it’s typically because their basic psychological needs are frustrated/thwarted. This course shows you how to best support those needs and guide your teen to flourishing.
100% yes!
Absolutely! Chances are that if you have ADHD, one or more of your kids also has it. It has been designed (by people with ADHD!) to be suitable for time-poor parents, with each video and lesson short and to the point.
See above.
Purchasing this course gives you lifetime access to all materials.
NDIS claims can be made but you must check with your provider.
We live with it in our home. And we do what is in the course to make life more manageable.
Yes, you can work through each module and the workbook at your own pace.
It’s definitely not anti-meds. However, medication is not a focus of the course; it is mentioned a number of times in passing, but the course focuses on other strategies to help build strong connections with your child, to help reduce executive function load, and to reduce shame, elevate self-esteem, and grow healthier, happier children.
Triple P is based on a behavioural framework (think punishment and reward), where as this is based on a Self-Determination Theory framework, oriented to creating a 'need-supportive environment'. When a child is struggling, it's typically because their basic psychological needs are frustrated/thwarted. This course shows you how to best support those needs and guide your child to flourishing. In addition, unlike Triple P, this course is neuro-affirming.
It can feel overwhelming! This course distils all you need to know about ADHD, makes it easy to understand, and gives you practical steps to move forward. Hope it's helpful.
I love that the videos are short!! Every course I’ve done is like an hour or more long which is great but I always put them off! This is achievable for a busy parent who also has ADHD! So thank you for presenting this course differently to others!

One of the best parenting courses I have tried. Dr Justin Coulson is brilliant in his deliverance of the content presented as I felt a real understanding of the information.
I loved the videos and then having the opportunity to reflect in our work books. He also does not ambulance sell which most of parenting courses do and I am not about that at all. High 5! and keep up the amazing work.

I can absolutely recommend this course. It is very manageable in regard to time and homework. This course provides wonderful and practical ways to connect in meaningful ways with our kids and how to support them and grow as a family.
Justin is passionate in his advocacy for kids and support of parents, this shines brightly in this course.
